Crowding Problems in the CDMX Metro

This Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro of Mexico City presents various problems on several of its lines.

Line 12 records maximum passenger flow, with reports of slow train progress. On the other hand, Line A shows high user demand without reports of malfunction. As for Line B, it is saturated, causing waiting times of over ten minutes, recommending users to seek alternatives.

On Line 1, no failures are reported, but some stations show congestion. Meanwhile, on Line 2, there is reported slowness in the direction of Cuatro Caminos and high passenger flow at some stations.

For its part, Line 8 is experiencing problems with train progress, while Line 9 reports maximum user demand without failures.

Regarding Line 3 (Green), there are issues affecting train progress, where Indios Verdes-Universidad records congestion and problems with train departures from the base. Despite this, no failures have been reported so far, but stations are starting to become congested, causing delays and waiting times of over six minutes.
